Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on April 16th, 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker. Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. She is the daughter of an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother hails from Spanish and English heritage. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. The family lived within Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria area in London. According to Taylor-Joy, this relocation was difficult and she refused to master English with the intention of returning to Argentina. Her school had to change to Northlands to Hill House. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school productions. At the age of 16, she quit school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy had always wanted to be an actor. When she was 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the chance to become a model.
