Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss has been a country singer for over 30 years. Her birthplace was in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd July 1971. LeAnn Kymes, along with Krauss, were amongst the Grammy Award winners who were among the youngest. Alison Maria Krauss - born on the 23rd of July 1971 is a popular American country and bluegrass singer. Her career in music began at an early age competing in local contests before when she was 10 years old before making her first recording at the age of 14. When she was 14, she enrolled with Rounder Records and in 1987 she released her first solo album. She was then invited to be a part of Alison Krauss Union Station, which is the group she performs together. The first album she released as a collective with this group came out in 1989.
